Mission Trips
Talking to people about the love of Jesus is at the very centre of who we are and what we do. And Greater Grace Santacruz has been on mission trips to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Lucknow in the past.
We travel to other cities, visit remote villages, talk to people about Jesus, soak ourselves in different cultures across different Indian states, eat the local cuisine, and get encouraged by the lives of fellow Christian brothers and sisters – who may live in a different location and speak a different language but are all part of one family of God!
And trust us, we have so much fun!!!
Church Family Camp
We think that the family that prays together should also eat together
… and play together! Greater Grace Santacruz went for its first weekend family camp in August 2014. Around 50 of us – from grandmothers to babes-in-arms went to the idyllic setting of Igatpuri for a 3 day family camp.
And what a blast we had! From playing kho-kho and badminton, to spending time studying the Bible, to outdoor barbecues, to playing Pictionary and dumb charades, to late night coffee times to Q&A sessions on the Bible – we did it all! No one wanted to come back!
Church Picnic
In June 2015, we went for a one day picnic to Gorai to enjoy a time of fun and fellowship together.
Action songs, devotion time, baptisms, volleyball, jumping in the pool are just some of the few things that made it exciting and memorable.
It’s amazing how these times of fellowship knit us closer together as a family.
