Street outreach
The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ loved people and was always
moved with compassion when he saw their needs.
In keeping with the command that Jesus gave his Church
(Matt 28:19-20), we have weekly outreaches every Thursday evening where we talk to people about the love of Jesus.
Proverbs 10:21 – “The lips of the righteous feed many.”
Proverbs 11:30 – “He who wins souls is wise.”
Tuberculosis hospital visits
Jesus had a ministry of compassion, and as his children we follow his example.
Every Friday evening a team of volunteers visit the TB hospital at Sewri.
Spending time with the patients, lending a listening ear, praying together, sharing the Love of Jesus, and just being there and letting them know that there’s scope for hope, is what makes these Friday evenings meaningful.
Garden youth fellowship
Held at Rajesh Khanna garden, the Garden Youth Fellowship meets every Thursday evening at 5:30 pm for a time of fun, fellowship and learning.
The bible talks about praising Him with stringed instruments and that’s just what they do at GYF, where guitar sessions are conducted for the youth who wish to learn the skill.
Fun games knit them together, and a portion from the word helps them grow in a relationship with their creator.
